Luxury Automakers Foray into India’s Branded Real Estate Market

New Delhi, January 6, 2026 – The luxury housing market in India is about to get a major boost as some of the world’s most renowned automobile brands are set to enter the real estate sector. Industry insiders suggest that 2026 could see a surge in such deals between automakers and prominent real estate developers.

According to the report, brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Lamborghini are in advanced discussions to partner with large developers and foray into the branded residential segment in India. The move comes as these automakers eye the country’s growing demand for premium, branded living spaces.

“Mercedes-Benz is in talks with several developers in Gurugram, including Marriott, Armani Casa, Versace Home, Armani, Versace, Trump, Hyatt, Pullman, and ITC. They are also looking at the pre-existing branded residential projects by Hilton,” said Roshni Shekhar, a real estate analyst.

The report also highlights the involvement of Tonino Lamborghini, son of the Lamborghini founder, who is spearheading the Italian brand’s foray into the Indian real estate market. Lamborghini is in discussions with multiple developers across sectors, particularly in Mumbai and Chennai, where projects by Four Seasons and The Ritz-Carlton are in the final stages of negotiation.

Industry experts believe that the entry of these renowned automobile brands will further elevate the standards of luxury living in India and cater to the evolving preferences of high-net-worth individuals in the country.
